Lantern Festivals bring entire communities of both family and friends and complete strangers together that combine their individually crafted lanterns that collectively culminate in a breathtaking display like you have never seen before!
Each adult and youth ticket will include an event wristband and ONE lantern kit (lantern & markers). Child tickets do not include a lantern kit, however, a youth ticket can be purchased if a child wants to build and launch a lantern. Ticket prices also cover the collection and disposal of water lanterns and trash, which is done by our Lantern Lights team.
Lantern launch begins up to 30 minutes prior to dusk and will last approximately 1 hour, or until everyone is able to launch their lanterns.
Typically, entrance is allowed 3 hours prior to lantern launch, which begins shortly before sunset. We suggest you arrive at least 1 hour prior to launch. This allows you plenty of time to pick up your lantern supplies, socialize, and enjoy the food, entertainment. A more detailed event guide can be found on our website, and will be emailed to you in your ticket confirmation email.
No, everyone is welcome at the festival. However, there are child and youth tickets available for purchase. Children 0-6 get in free, but will not receive a lantern kit. A youth ticket can be purchased if a child wants to build and launch a lantern. Regardless of which ticket(s) you purchase, all participants must agree to the waiver at the time of purchase.
There will be limited merchandise for sale at the event. Accepted forms of payment include cash & cards.
Our staff will make sure each lantern that was launched is accounted for during the clean-up process.
All participants must use one of the lanterns we provide. This ensures that lanterns stay afloat, which helps during the clean-up process.
